Flat Inc.

A great piece of research as part of my Stuff-O-Meter brief as Flat's main focus is to make information accessible, concentrating on the user experience and the integration of technology into daily life.
In 2000 it launched the first in a series of on-line public service announcements, the website being called 'Flrt'. It is one of Flat's 'home-brewed projects', a place to house its public service announcement series.

It has 6 different sections, such as 'What do the trees want?', 'Computer is Bad', 'The Paperless Office' and 'E-waste', each with its own bit of animation and interaction. Each section appears in a pop up window, scrolling down reveals sub-headings, each with interesting information and lots of facts and figures which are always useful!
